So, Tami recently challenged to me blog 5 weird things. To elaborate, these are 5 unique things that maybe even my closest friends, maybe even you, do not know about me. These are quirky things that make me, well, me! Now, this assignment was not taken lightly! Tami thinks that it should be included as one of my weird things that it took me over two months to come up with a satisfactory list of 5 things about me that are weird! OK- so I'm particular!!! Anyway, here goes!

1. Since I can remember, I've always wanted to be a singer...or an archaeologist

Dinosaurs! Really old stuff! The history of mankind! I find it all so fascinating! When I was little, I wanted to own a museum full of great treasures that I had dug up around the globe! However, I think all that changed when I recognized my dislike of the outdoors, being hot or dirty, and my fear of dead things! I still have a healthy interest in culture and civilization, though, and I am enthralled with geneology. For instance, I know that my paternal great grandfather was born on October 8th, 1878, exactly one century prior to my birth!

2. I do not enjoy swallowing pills

It just freaks me out! I know, I'm well aware that its all psychological, but its just hard for some people! I didn't even learn to do it until my freshman year of college! Seriously, I used to chew all sorts of nasty medication up! But I'm not a quitter, and I won't let being a weeny stop me from taking 4 vitamins a day. I've got it down to a science these days! Just take a swig of something carbonated, swish the stupid capsule around in your mouth until you've lost it, and swallow! Nothing to it!

3. I'm kind of anal about my closet organization

If you were to take inventory of my wardrobe, I'm sure you would find it a pleasant experience. Everything is organized by season, color coordinated, and neatly hung on white plastic hangers. From left to right, there are dresses, work out pants, dress pants, kakhis and black pants, capris and jeans on the single rod, followed by jackets and blazers, long sleeved button-ups, 3/4 length button-ups, camisoles, tank tops, sleeveless shirts, light weight shirts with sleeves, long sleeved shirts and wraps on the top rod, with belts, skirts, shorts, and work out jackets on the bottom rod, just left of the shoe racks. Everything goes from blacks, to browns, to greys, to greens, to reds, to pinks, to purples, to blues to whites. Everything faces left.

4. I know all of the prepositions in the English language

It shouldn't surprise you that I could sing them all to you to the tune of Yankee Doodle. They are: with, on, for, after, at, by, in, against, instead of, near, between, as, off, from, under, down, below, through, over, up, according to, across, around, beyond, about, behind, beside, above, throughout, into, until, before, among (and the Big finish!) are prepositions everyone!!! Thank you, 7th grade grammar!

5. I do not know how to work my assorted TV remotes

Well, come on, we have 4 of them!!! I do not care to recall how many times I've messed our whole system up by pushing the wrong button on the wrong remote, I just know it hardly seems worth it to me to try and figure it all out when my husband revels in the opportunity to play with technology. Let him know how to start a movie, I say! Now, I will say that I'm better than I used to be, but I still have to call him if he's not home and I want to DVR something!

Well, there it is. Hope you've learned something about me that you didn't know before, and I hope I haven't compromised our friendship! Now its your turn!

That is so funny!  I was singing the preposition song as I was reading it...just to make sure you got it all right.  I'd like to thank Coach Thomas for teaching me that song.  You're so cute.  I had no idea that you were so anal about your closet.  I mean, yeah, I knew you were anal about some things, but really.  All I remember about your closet as a kid is that plastic shoe rack on the door.  Oh, and don't feel bad about the TV remote thing...I don't get it either.

Yipee!  I love it!  I wanna learn the prepositions song please.  Also, I didn't realize that everything faces left!  I like the part about swishing the pill around in your mouth till you lose it - way to fake yourself out Kell!  You make me giggle out loud and I love you for it!

PS - in case anyone reads this there is no way on God's green earth Kelly could have ever been an Archiologist!  She's way smart, but man she's a girl!#%$#

You will forever make me giggle.  I knew some of this stuff about you.  The entire "everything faces left" made me laugh, but I also am not an ounce surprised by this.  I knew you didn't like taking pills, but I must say...swishing them around in your mouth until they dissolve...YUCK!!!!!  I think I would prefer swallowing them quickly over tasting them.  I don't even know what the word "prepositions" even means....yes, I also am amazed I graduated from a prestigious university.  And finally...the remotes is all too funny.  Especially considering in my home, Cam asks me how to use the remotes.  Moral of the story:  I sit around and watch too much TV.

You know, it just constantly confounds me how much you sound like  me when you talk...write...whatever. If I sent this to Ron, he'd be like "why are you telling me things I already know, " and then resume taunting me with stupid TV shows I don't want to watch while pointing and laughing as I beat him with the remote controls. There's one good use for them.
