Day one of the world reknown FIFA World Cup and I'm sitting here at work listening to the online broadcast of the first match of the FIFA, I'm disapointed with my self I should have callled in to work today so I could watch Shakira, although I know for a fact that her hips dont lie, I really wanted to see her shake those Coffee Country hips.

FIFA is the one of the world most known international sport putting the Super Bowl in its place, in the blue, red and white country, just go to southern africa ask any one who Pele is and they will know the legend of Brazil but ask them who Micheal Jordan is and they will not know who it is.

Use this blog to display your thoughts, opinions, and more. Not just of the FIFA but also of your favorite team.

I still havent found a video of Shakira at the opening ceremony or any of the actual opening ceremony.

Deutschland played outstandingly well, they had to since they are the host team. The Caribean Country, Costa Rica, playing skill was very respectable, since every one expected a Deutschland 4 - Costa Rica 0.

Ecuator played amazing against Poland, specially considering this is their second FIFA.

I was disapointed with Englands perofomance against Paraguay. I feel that I was short changed from both teams. England could have pushed harder and stonger and perhaphs the score would have been England 3 - Paraguay 0. Since it was an auto goal from the southern american team, my expectaions of England are very high and I'd be disapionted if England does not start to deliver What I Expect! ! !

I'm eagerly waiting for Trinidad y Tobago v.s. Switzerland. Triniad may show some fear in the first half of the game, nevertheless this team has has a lot of experience, but this may be worthless if Trinidad does not face their fears.  I'm predicting Swiss to dominate the terrain about 70% of the game. My prediction Trinidad 3 - Swiss 1.

Or Swiss to win for one goal at least.

I was amazed with Trinidad's performance since I was expectin a win fro Sweden. Nevetheless Trinidad played a litle too strong since they received the first red card and two yellow cards.

It was a very exciting goalles game as I had predicted it Sweden dominated the terrain with a 60 % to 40%. Which was very respectable since Trinidad only had ten players.

I hope to hear from you soon at this blog.

ITALY 1-1 FRANCE a.e.t 5-3 PSO

Italy are world champions for the fourth time after beating ten-man France 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in Berlin's Olympiastadion on Sunday, 9 July 2006.

Twelve years after losing to Brazil in the first shoot-out in a FIFA World Cup Final, Italy made up for that heartbreak as all five men in blue converted their kicks to claim world football's greatest prize for the first time since 1982. For France the pain of defeat was compounded by the sight of Zinedine Zidane, on his last appearance as a professional, leaving the field having been sent off in extra time for butting Marco Materazzi off the ball.
