"Genesis," J-ricz's first solo album project enfolds 15 original tracks reminiscent of the writing style of Ne-yo, the sultry sound of Robin Thicke, and the powerful yet heartfelt voice of Usher.  "Beautiful Life," a mid-tempo song opens up the theme of the album.  J-ricz sings about his epiphany of music as a dominant factor in his life.  The journey of the album then leads you to a few upbeat club tracks, followed by more mid-tempos songs with a groovy but classic feel, such as "It's all about you".  Then J-ricz slows it down and lets you enjoy listening to his captivating voice.  Not only are the melodies and beat productions engaging, the lyrics to all the songs are very mesmeric and well written as well.  Such as the song "Hear My Prayer," where his religious influence is genuinely heard.  In this song, J-ricz gives emphasis to holding on to your faith.  The album, Genesis, will take you to a musical adventure with its diverse mix of songs that will surely capture everyone's heart.
