Who is this Ben Goldacre, I hear his name crop up in many places? He must be a very affable guy to have so many friends.
 

Sounds like fun.  There is a Camden in the States too, near my home city of Philadelphia.  It has a well-attended concert arena.  There's also science over here.  So please pay us a visit.

 

This happened to me yesterday and it came to mind whilst reading you note as it seemed like something you may do - that's not true, I just wanted to tell the story.

I got very silly drunk the other night so my boyfriend and I decided to get a taxi home rather than drive - well done us - when I got in the taxi I thought I would be friendly to the taxi driver as I thought it must be horrid working so late on a Sunday night.
I said to the taxi driver "Does your wife mind you coming out this late at night?"
At which point my boyfriend started laughing uncontrollably for reasons I couldn't explain at the time, then the taxi driver swivelled around in the seat, looked at me and said "I'm a woman!" at which point I realised why my boyfriend was laughing so much.  I should have taken that as my queue to be quiet, but no, I didn't, instead I said "Really?"
The now incredibly annoyed taxi driver said "YES REALLY!"
My boyfriend said that he had never heard the word 'really' said in such a tone that it meant so many different things at once, but it really meant 'fuck!'

I was very good though, I didn't laugh, I just tried to breath, changed the subject and kept talking.
