I was so blessed to meet this man when i won my DMC DJ Competition 1988...What he has given to the world has been pure greatness..He stood up for black people and made us feel good to say "Hey I'm Black and I'm Proud"!!!!

James you meant the world to me and many others in this world...Thank you brotha.

The GodFather of Soul  will be surely missed.    I'm very thankful for all
that he's done...not just in music, but the way he repped for us!   The song "I'm black and i'm proud", brought hope and pride back to our community.  His music was the first thing a scratched as a D.J.  and his Breaks will forever be classic's to all B-boys and turntable munipulators!    James Brown...the legend..the Icon..the International Superstar..The hardest working man Showbiz has ever seen. (R.I.P.)
