Nice! Another release to add to my discography: The latest (or in this case, since Steve Stapleton releases many NWW albums at once, ONE of the latest) Nurse With Wound album, entitled "May the Fleas Of A Thousand Camels Infest Your Armpits" was released on United Dairies last month. It is the recording of the two performances recorded at the Great American Music Hall back in 2006 nicely put together. It is an honour having to have been on this bill, working with Steve and being on this release. Now I still await that contact about the next NWW tour I was invited on...

Also, currently in production stage is the third Book of Knots album that I did a session for last year. The Book of Knots of that band with Tony Maimone (Pere Ubu, They Might Be Giantsetc.), Carla Kihlstedt (Tin Hat Trio, Tom Waits, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, 2 Foot Yard, many many more), Producer/engineer/guitarist Joel Hamilton (Unsane, etc.) and Matthias Bossi (Sleepytime Gorilla Museum). Other folks on it will include Trey Spurance, Mike Watt and others. I got to bow a wooden box for this one. It'll be very nice and exciting when this finally get released!

That is all for now. Been thinking of getting to play out more again, so I'll see what I can come up with from dipping my feet into shows. Cheers.

What can come from you dipping your feet into more shows. . . is more incredible music.  Your unexpected and unannounced (to me anyway) appearance with Nurse With Wound stands as one of my Great Musical Experiences (not just top "esoteric musical experiences.")  You and NWW went together like Green Eggs and Spam!

Is the book of knots you mention a Secret Chiefs 3 project?  With Keihlstedt too?  It's been great to see so many of my favorite frayed musical threads come together on projects.
