Dear people of New York City and neighbouring principalities; rural, provincial, urban or otherwise.

On sunday night, the ninth of september our very own Ólöf Arnalds will be playing and singing in The Sanctuary, St.Marks Church alongside our one-time songster Kría Brekkan. The doors will open at 8pm and the show will begin 8.30pm, so set your pocketwatches.

enjoy,

Florina

Good day.
My name is Florina Titz, I am a Romanian independent movie director. I am writing to you in hoping that you will answer my request.
I am currently engaged in the filming (directing and editing) of my first long feature movie, a project called “Trip”. We are a small crew (professional theatre actors, together with art school students) in Constanta and for the last 10 months we have been shooting and arranging scenes on our own., we will soon finish what looks like a grand project, even though there was no initial budget to begin with.
The request is to use “Ballad of the Broken Birdie Records” and “K”Half Noise” for 2 very specific scenes of the movie. (I can give you as much detail as you want, if you are interested). We very much hope to receive your approval because we never imagined the scenes to be watched otherwise (then by being complemented by Mum music). Actually, we hope to do justice to your music with this scene. I know it may sound like a strange request giving the fact that we have no budget and it is an indie student film, but we trust in our vision and in the incredible things we have managed to achieve by now with small resources. Thank you for your wonderful music and I very much hope to get an answer.
All the best,
Florina Titz & crew
