What the hell? Why is it that these so-called artists on the BET Hip Hop Awards afraid of a band??? WTF? All that staging, the could have hired Ricky Minor to back up on the music. That singin' to a track has played out and is very annoying. These are major artists, so why the hell can't they be backed up by a band. I'm from the school where music was music and musicians were musicians. I'll be damned I'll go to any show and the acts don't have a solid band. BET Hip Hop Awards please take note....A band would validate you tremendously and not make the whole affair look and feel like a 1979 house party.
