I get alot of messages from people wanting to know some general info so I thought this would be easier for everyone
I work at the Great American Tattoo Company, 118 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN. (20 minutes east of Indianapolis)
I work mon, tues, weds; noon to 8pm and fri and sat; noon to 10 pm
I DO NOT do house parties nor will I tattoo outside of the shop unless it is a convention or a guest spot. Im not a fucking scratcher nor will I act as such.
To book an appointment Please stop into the shop. If this is not possible because you are traveling, please call the shop or message me on here. Im usually booked a week or two in advance but sometimes it can be even more or just a couple of days.
I charge roughly $100 an hour with a $50 min. (shop policy). For larger work I usually work out a deal that is a little more wallet friendly. If you have a budget, though, let me know so I can work with you. If I think your budget is unreasonable Ill be sure to let you know upfront. Also please do not try to argue down prices with me. I charge what I feel my work is worth. Tattooing should be quality over quantity. A cheap tattoo is just that a cheap tattoo. Why bargian shop for something your going to have to wear for the rest of your life?
I do not tattoo anything: gang related, that glorifies the use of drugs or alcohol, rasict (no lame neo-nazi bullshit!), ICP or juggalo related or anything that I think is in poor taste i.e. FUCK YOU across your throat in old english. Im totally down to tattoo a nun doing every unholy thing to herself with a bloody upside down cross, but Im just not doing it on your neck. (by the way I have NO problem doing religious tattoos as well, I actually do quite alot.)
If you are not reasonably covered, are a tattooist, or already have hand/face/neck tattoos, I will not tattoo your hands, neck, or face. Its already hard enough to find a good job, I can sleep at night knowing that I passed up a jobstopper.
I do not tattoo anyone under the age of 16. PERIOD. NO EXCEPTIONS. and if you are under the age of 18 you need to bring in your parent or legal guardian (no older brothers/sisters or neighbors) and you both need state issued IDs like a drivers license. If you do not have this YOU DONT GET TATTOOED. If your last names don't match do to marriage or legal guardianship you need either paperwork showing they are your legal guardian or birth certificate. If you are 18 or older you still need a state issued ID. NO ID NO TATTOO.
I will not tattoo anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. It is simply unprofessional, not to mention I will not allow anything to effect the healing of the tattoo to the best of my ability.
I will not rip off or duplicate another tattoo that I or another tattooer has done. If you have an idea you like I will be more then happy to custom draw it for you so you get your own tattoo.
I use 100% vegan friendly ink. I wouldnt want anything else in my body nor anyone else's.
No solid white or UV tattoos .They heal like shit and I am very iffy on anything that glows in the dark that goes in your skin.
