Everyone thinks that owning a business is a "get rich quick" scheme. I am not sure who put
out that memo but they were wrong. It causes diseases in people's mind. There is simply no such thing.

What's N.T.B?  It's a DISEASE that infects all networkers until they join at least 5 opportunities and never make any money. It stands for the "Next Big Thing".

Unless you deal with your NBT, you end up looking like a used car salesman.

You are being sold by expert marketers, (the company leadership), because they know they must truly MOVE your emotions just to get the average Joe to sponsor 2 customers or builders.

Wake up...

This is m-a-R-k-e-t-I-n-G, and YOU are the product of your company.

So here's the deal...

Lose the emotions. Lose the lottery dreams of The Next Big Thing. This is a BIZ-NESS where only the fittest, (and smartest), survive and thrive.

This is about smart marketing, promotion, and follow up.

Lose the emotion. Get off the roller coaster.

Why? What's the big benefit?

Simple... It allows you to RELAX and focus on the one thing that WILL make a difference in your success without distraction: YOU! It allows you to make decisions based on the right business reasons like market demand.

Do you even know the market demand for your company's product? Is there a demand for it or has your company created the illusion or promise of demand to keep you starry eyed?

Here's my point...

There are no free rides, and any "easy/lucky" rides usually don't last long. The irony is that anyone who makes money as an entrepreneur treats their business like a JOB.

Mike Dillard drove this point home when he said:

Until you learn how to:

1: Build a list.
2: Build a relationship with the people on that list.
3: Market to that list.

You will NEVER get the results you want, no matter how many companies you join.

An endless number of "online lead providers" offer "immediate, easy, powerful" answers to the industry's 1 problem... answers that simply do not work.

How could they? There are only two kinds of lead-sellers, both of whom profit off your pain...

1) Sell cheap leads. You buy the same old, tired lists.

OR...

2) Sell expensive leads. You might be getting unique leads. But who knows how unique or how "warm" or "real" they are. Usually, they are merely paid a certain amount to "be a lead" and could not care less about whatever is being "pitched."

One more important point about lead-generators... when you stop paying, the leads stop coming. So you do not own your business, not when you depend on others to generate leads.

It's amazing, but sad, how many people never figure out that there is simply no such thing as "get rich quick." There are no shortcuts to building a truly profitable business with equity.

Start learning how to generate your own leads. Make people come to you. Own your business.
You don't want another job ... work your business like a business.
