First I'd like to thank everyone who tipped up at the Gallery last night for the John Martyn celebration, it was a very special thing to be part of, stories told, songs sung. The craziest thing was that en route to Alexandra Palace to walk Cooper, after midnight, I switched on Radio 3 and they were playing the last BBC session that John did before he passed. A perfect end to a very moving night.

So over the coming months Blue Rose Code will be recording our debut album to be released on Ho Hum records. We demo-ed some songs last weekend at St Margaret's House in Bethnal Green, to start considering arrangements, three of which I've posted on myspace; 'Favourite Boy', 'Ardroil' and 'Rebecca'. Just basic, unpolished demos, but some of you have been asking me to post these songs since hearing them live.
