Van hunt's new CD is definitely funky and them lyrics are out this world. They are so freakin' deep!!! I've been listening to him nonstop and dancing while driving...the whole nine. I went to both shows in Los Angeles and I get excited all over again after I pop in the new CD. He is badd and very refreshing to all these watered-down performers, who just get on a stage and "act" like they are doing something. It stucks.

 I wish that the music industry would change itself around. All this people getting the promotion, when they have mediocre vocal skills, lack true artistic talent and their songwriting (if they truly have any) is so elementary. There is too much hype and propaganda in mainstream music. I think that is why all this bootleg stuff is out of control. Folks do not want to waste their money on these entertainers [not musicans or vocalists]. People nowadays fall in love with the song not the artist. Unlike me, I am a selective buyer. I do not go out and buy a CD, 'cause the radio plays a song at least twice an hour, 'cause of their playlists. I buy a CD, 'cause the artists has talent that I can dig...not 'cause he/she is pretty or dresses cool or they have just one song that it is cool for the momemt, but 3 months later, I could never ever imagine listening to it ever again. I love Timeless Music.....end of story.
