Well...it LOOKS like my days living in the old Porter Apartment here in Marysville, CA. MAY be numbered!
I received a telephone call from my Landlord's wife, Lynn today...announcing that she had NOT heard from a Group that had vowed to help me out with my PAST DUE Rent!
This was a couple of MONTHS ago, and while several Well-Known Professional Wrestling Personalities that I have worked with in the past HAVE sent in Autographed Photos, T-Shirts, Baseball Caps and other items for this Group to include on their E-Bay Page for Auction or Sale...there has been NOTHING mentioned by them on their website OR their E-Bay Page, about their attempts to help "one of their own" (ME) during a time of need!
I guess that I CAN'T blame this Group for not coming through as they had vowed! I guess that I was just "grasping at straws" that anybody would care enough for a broken-down "former" WWF Ring Announcer who has spent more than 40 YEARS in the business, trying to entertain others the SAME way that I had been entertained by the Pro Wrestling business years BEFORE I actually became a small part of it!
So...it APPEARS that my LOVING and BELOVED dog, Pepper and I will SOON be HOMELESS and forced to live either "on-the-street" or possibly, under a nearby bridge...which is populated with drug and alcohol use and abuse, and where CRIME is RAMPANT! There have been a number of MURDERS down there...not to mention assaults and robberies! So...OBVIOUSLY, I would NOT look forward to having to go down there!
And since I will NOT force Pepper to live such a life as I may be forced to live, I may have to give her up...even though she is the ONLY, LIVING soul that has REALLY shown me ANY GENUINE LOVE & AFFECTION!
Now...I'm NOT asking or begging YOU to help me! It MAY be TOO LATE for me now! I'm just asking for some GENUINE, GOOD THOUGHTS, WELL WISHES and some PRAYERS!
While I MAY be at the END of MY rope, I wish to SINCERELY THANK ALL of YOU who have sent to me, by way of phone calls, MySpace messeges, Instant Messeges, e-mail messeges and your posted Comments to my blogs, bulletins and my Status and Moods postings!
And...IF I DO lose my apartment...one that I have lived in for nearly 9 YEARS, I will be forced to SHUT DOWN...PERMANENTLY, THIS TIME...my beloved "WrestleShoot" Internet Radio Show! I WILL however CONTINUE to Host "WrestleShoot" until I am CARRIED...PHYSICALLY out of my apartment!
And so...once again...I ask you for your GOOD THOUGHTS, your WELL WISHES and your PRAYERS, that I will overcome whatever hardships that I may be facing in the VERY NEAR FUTURE!
I HAVEN'T given up HOPE that SOMETHING will come along...SOMEHOW...to allow me to keep Pepper, my apartment AND...MY DIGNITY!
