ok, so i managed to make the trek from my hotel in uh, wack hollywood (Highland & Sunset) to cool Hollywood (over by the Whiskey & the Viper Room)....
 Fueled by frankie and Johnnies Pizza and  MGD no doubt, it was a trek that mostly involved putting up stickers and posters and handing out flyers for our album etc...

i leave early tomorrow and arrive late in NYC, being screwed by the perpetual motion of our earth and losing 3 hours and a Bartending shift in the mix.

It's been a great trip we got alot of work done at Chalice studio and spent the last 2 nights at THE MIX ROOM which was AMAZING!!!

Located in Burbank (warner bros. & NBC etc..) THE MIX ROOM is where alot of hip hop and rock stuff gets mixed but all we need is a little booth and a good signal chain so we where FINE. I liked the vibe better and  the outboard gear was  not even  explainable  in a simple blog. after a few technical  and political set back we  knocked out the work so quick, we where able to do some mixing and squencing that really made one song sound AMAZING. After a trip to the whip the producer was very ethused and we all felt really great about the work being done. - a side note while my assitant (thats right!) set up the session i did a little writing on our new number "Easy Tiger" (thank you very much) on the guitar that Filter recorded "awake on an airplane with", a great song and one of my father's fav of all time.

on this last day i finally ran the runyon valley park hill  (what up L)  with out stopping, took a nap by the pool, drank a throughly statisfying coffee smoothie and made the trek to cool hollywood.

now i am anxious to get back in MY studio in NYC, play with  Jordan, alter some of the vintage finds i made here and be back at home before i'm homeless as of june 1st, thats right REAL HOMELESS...... thats how we do up and down the life of an artist.

 I'll be fine of course and i believe we have some shows in june and a regular friday-night DJ gig to announce soon !!!
