I've decided to enter my blog under the catergory of pets and animals to gain a wider readership. I feel justified in doing so. I'm a pretty fluffy-headed lady, as one can tell from my portrait.

Been checkin' out great sounds from the London Improv scene - inluding the great Evan Parker and an amazing pianist - Veryan Weston. People often ask me what I've been listening to lately. I have to say that the majority of the music I listen to is live gigs, mostly improvised.

My 12 bar club gig was a nice crowd. Excited to be playing Brighton this Saturday, overlooking the sea with two lovely ladies, fellow songstresses - Sharon Lewis and Katy Carr.

I'm off to soak in the sights and sounds of Morocco next week. Back in London, I'll be playing on the BBC World Service's "the Ticket" around 20 Oct but will let you know closer to the time.
