Yes, I'm a little late with this one but, I'm still celebrating!
Yeah ya'll, a few friends of mine as well as I made the cover (well...inside cover) of July 1st's Billboard magazine! I feel honored. Congats to all the folks who made the cover and inside story.
Props to Gail Mitchell of Billboard, whose support for the underground soul scene has been immeasurable! I can't thank her enough.
When you have a chance, check out the wonderful article she wrote "Soul Survivors" (p27).
