Current mood:  accomplished

Okay, so I was watching this movie today, Bedrooms and Hallways, and one of the characters in it said something which really made sense to me.  He basically said, "All relationships end, either by a break-up or death."

I think it's kind of a good philosophy to have.  I mean everyone seems to want to find "the one", and at the same time close themselves off from people in order to not get hurt.  Well, we're going to get hurt, either by a break-up or death, so why not jump in head first and just go for it?

As a little extra bonus here (since this is virtually a live journal repost), is that I wish other people in my life had felt or did feel the same way.  It might make the world a happier and more exciting place...

i totally agree.
i think we should all return to that innocent, passionate mindset we all had before we got screwed over. let's jump headfirst into relationships. let's kiss and mean it. and for goodness sakes, let's all stop using that tired old line, "it's just that i've been hurt before." get the f*ck over it.
