So I'm back, I made it through the chaos. A couple of disappointing facts: 1.) David Bowie was not there. Tragedy. 2.) I did not meet any celebrities. 3.) I did not get to go on the red (actually heineken green) carpet. However, I did SEE about a billion celebrities, including Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, Tom Hanks, Ellen and Portia, Jay Z, Kanye West, Fiona Apple, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Michelle Williams, etc. And if anyone watched the show, I got to see some awesome performances and some ridiculous ones (i.e. Sly Stone being awesome and walking off the stage mid song). All in all it was an excellent experience, a long day of food deprivation, foot pain, and celebrity sitings.
