Look, this nonsense with the economy was able to be forseen, but the problem was that Democrats and Repubs, both, were going along with the Bushy party line, and saying the economy was fundamentally sound.

It is a documented fact that I have been, almost a lone voice since Bushy took office, proclaiming that the economy was bad and getting worse.
Just go to Google, and type in "codewarriorz,economy, bad"
or even "codewarrior,economy,bad" and see all the posts and blog entrys, and blogs at which I have been proclaiming the fact the economy was terrible. In fact, I have been calling the idea that the economy was sound or in good shape, "The Big Lie", ala Josef Goebbels, information minister for Adolf Hitler.

The Big Lie was that the economy was good, and even when unemployment numbers were growing, some idiots were saying this was actually a good thing. Read this post from 2004
