Killaflaw
"If only Led Zeppelin stopped ripping off blues artists and heard The Prodigy decades earlier, they'd probably sound like this. Hailing from Liverpool, two-piece Killaflaw have been flooring jaws across their tours with a high octane set that commands you to either dance, or mosh" - Stephen Kelly - Fly Magazine
With the immanent release of the Set Me On Fire EP in October 09 and an album due in the first quarter of 2010. Killaflaw have set up a nationwide tour along with a hometown date in Liverpool returning to The Lovely Job to kick things off!
Tygerstyle
Tygerstyle are a 7 piece band from Liverpool that combine influences of pop-rock-funk-soul-reggae creating a funk and groove that constantly builds keeping you on the edge and entertained throughout.
Good things are predicted for this 7 piece that have already and are due to share the stage with the likes of Krystina Myles, Finlay Quay and The Brand New Heavies.
The Rialto Burns
The Rialto Burns are a 4 piece Indie / Electro band from Liverpool who’s sound is reminiscent of Joy Division, although more melodic and uplifting.
While fairly new starting up their live performance life as of June 09, all have had previous success on the circuit with other acts and have achieved regular airplay on radio Merseyside’s Dave Monks show already.
The Decks
The decks are a band who have been together since the turn of the year and produce music far more mature and accomplished for their age.
Again comparisons to Joy division spring to mind but the overall sound is brought to life by the cascading jangly guitar runs and hooks throughout each track.
Tone Puppets
Tone Puppets will be performing their long awaited debut with ex members of crimson rise joining the song writing partnership of Mark Mulhaney & Peter Fell.
Composed from a mix of rock, funk, reggae and Eastern influenced techniques the band have a definite individual sound that has already gained support and huge interest in what they are producing.
Higsbosun
Higsbosun is the experimental ramblings of Sam Mercer, Steven Parratt, Kris Purcell and Craig Owen. Another fairly new Liverpool act splintered from other bands including the well known Kinikade.
The lads fuse rock, dance and jazz making for a very interesting euphoric sound, reminiscent of a 60’s vibe with a 21st century twist.
We The Undersigned
