- How I understand, HUMAN MASTICATION it’s not a new name on the Philippine scene? How for a long time you cut a throat to whores by your sounds?

Hey bro, first of all thanks a lot for your time doing this interview man. Well, Human Mastication was formed in late 2002. It’s not just the throat of whores we cut, but also their pussy we blast! Hahaha lol

- The opportunity of a mistake is minimal: all fuckers from HM already skilled musicians and earlier played in other brutal squads?

At first we play in a hardcore/grind band before we formed Human Mastication

- How many demos you did before a debut album?

I think we released 3 demos and 3 split releases before the debut album

- Also I heard, what there were and splits?

- SEVARED Records was your first choice when you solved to what of the companies to offer your material for realization?

We got some offers from other labels but we choose Sevared Records to release our debut album. Sevared Records is a great label and offers us a suitable deal that satisfied us.

- From the moment of the edition of an album has passed some months already. Now you are satisfied by a distribution level, what has made for you the American label?

Yes we are satisfied from distribution to promotions of Sevared Records and we know Barrett is a hardworking guy and has an ability to give us a good shot, promotions and spreading our music worldwide as well.

- By the way, you already have offers from other labels about possible release of HM’s future second full work?

We’re planning to release a mcd/ep late this year or early 2010. There are some labels who are interested to release it like Addiction To War Records and Coptercrash Records. We’ll see what will happen… =)

- Cover artwork of debut CD very, very impressing – my congratulations guys, all looks so tasty!.. :-) Who has made this little gore masterpiece?

That impressive coverart done by Tony Koehl!

- Who the author of your band logo? To make its readable was the purpose?

Our new logo is done by Tom Pryer of Putrid Display. We had a split release with his band Corpse Carving before, and he suggests us to use that logo he made for that split but we refuse to use it. We use the logo in our debut album. That’s it

- Gee, I can be mistaken, but I heard, what you also draw design for various brutal bands, right?

No, I don’t have a talent in drawing hahahaha…

- «Necrophilia In The Church » - name of a final track of an album very sexy, he-he. What did you saw in your mind, when you wrote lyrics for this theme? :))

Hahahaha.. secret ;)

- How I understand, HUMAN MASTICATION also actively prints various designs of T-shirts? The textiles is in demand among your fans?

I hope so... hehehe.. We’re doing lot of merch for purposes, to gather some extra funds for our next recordings and other band expenses.

- Btw bro, what you think about shitty fashion of last couple of years, when manufacture of merchandise for many “brutal” bands became much more important, than creation of qualitative pieces of musical meat?

Yeah until today there are lots of new bands prefers making their merch first than to record their songs. It’s quite opposite for me, but it is their own choice. hehehe

- You really are not satisfied by any aspects of sounding of an album how I heard? In what problems, if so?

Yes we are not satisfied with the result of our record especially the guitar sound and the way it mastered. That output is not what we wanted. I hope there will be a huge improvement in our next recording.

- Perhaps, in the future it’s necessary to make similar work at any studio outside of Philippines? As you understand, first of all I speak about a mix.

I don’t know yet… But we’ll find a good and nearest studio to record our shit!

- In your country, basically, are able to competently records brutal metal? Sounding of which albums of the Philippine acts you love most of all?

So far the Down From The Wound - Agony Through Rituals Of Self Purification... That record is awesome and you should check that out!

- Gee, Philippines as a whole - big country. How much volumetric in your eyes your national death-grind scene?

Philippine death/grind scene is getting bigger and better every year passed and we’re glad that we got tons of supporters!

- Any regions of country possess the most active meat commune?

In modern brutal death, Luzon and Mindanao I guess

- Last years your bands began to release their albums more actively? There are local labels which support a scene?

Yes, there are some local labels/distros getting our stuffs and selling it in their areas for distributions.

- The MC format is still popular on Philippines? You listen to music on the tapes?

I still have tape stuffs for collection but I don’t have a player anymore. Tape players is already dying out here hahaha

-It’s sad, but last years when in global brutal underground people speak about Philippines, first of all recollect «a place for bastards» - Davao Island – because it’s fucking rip-offers. There really till now are active many dirty dogs that try to rip-off others in trades, or the situation has already improved?

I don’t know because I don’t mind those bullshit activities!

- You have an opportunity to do tours in various provinces of Philippines? In other countries of Southeast Asia already did some attacks?

Yes, we have an upcoming show in Luzon, Cavite “Masticating Cavite” this coming May 2009, and hopefully we can visit and play in other Asian countries in the near future.

- The financial situation enables you to reflect on an opportunity to make a trip to other parts of this planet with concerts?

Absolutely! Money is the major problem haha.. We should have big funds before we do tour to other countries.

- By the way, two-three thousand fans at local festival with Philippine brutal acts only – this is your (yeaaah :-)) reality?

Here in our small city, we only catch 300 to 500 supporters in our gigs/shows. I don’t know in other places but I’m pretty sure it’s getting bigger and bigger.

- I heard that your sound maniacs sometimes do really crazy things in the pits. Gigs - as military operations? :)

Yeah there are some sick motherfuckers doin brutal pits while we are playing on stage. We love to see them doing it…

- By the way, about real serial murderers Philippines have in history of the country of «exclusive» maniacs which worked long and «effectively»?

Hahaha! Here in our city, lots of summary killings go on and 99.69% of that are unsolved, or unanswered who are the suspects of those shitty activities which is very strange because even the police pigs and government officials have nothing to do and can’t control it... So people here have a doubt of those activities that there has a connection between the government and the assassins. They called themselves as Davao Death Squad hahaha, and their victims are drug addicts, snatchers etc… what do you think??? hEhehe....

- Gee, don’t laugh, but for a long time I wished to ask the inhabitants of Philippines: your well-known healers is only charlatans?.. :)))

There are many people who live here in Philippines, Christians, Muslims and some foreigners etc… About the healers you said, we have tons of professional doctors and good quality hospitals here. What are your sick imaginations here in Philippines? An ancient culture!? Hahahahahaha… Well, thanks a lot for the cool interview bro and all the best with your zine. Keep in touch. Cheers…
