Our friend Yuko ( she's been touring & working with me with her amazing visual art) has been fighting this disease for 4 years. We are organizing a fundraiser on her behalf. She has been supporting herself since her diagnosis, but she is currently in a condition where pain makes it impossible for her to work. She has a good support network from her family, friends, and the arts community in New York but it is becoming increasingly more difficult to cover her most basic needs. Money raised will go towards covering basic living expenses as well as establishing a fund for alternative treatments. Yuko is currently undergoing radiation treatments in New York hospitals but would also like to have the possibilty to explore other treatment options.

Yuko is a beautiful and gifted video artist, photographer, and writer whom some of you may also know from Natori or Tomoe Sushi. We hope you will join us in our efforts to support our friend and provide her with an environment which can allow her to continue to be productive, creative and pursue wellness.
