Firstly, jesus, park lane on a friday night really does show up the detritus of society, poynton's a fucking hole and the sooner I can move out of it the better.
Anyway, the legion has a beer fest on, they've got 26 beers on over the space of this evening, saturday and sunday afternoon. FUCK THE INDIANS HAVE SCORED. Grabbed a few this evening, some ratings:

Riverhead - Sparth Mild - 7, decent mild, solid but not spectacular
Hampshire - King Alfred - 7, popular bitter, nothing wrong with it
Howard Town - Snake Ale - 6, a bit bland
Riverhead - Marsden Best - 7, good
Wye Valley - Dorothy Goodbodies - 8, good taste
Strathaven - Trumpeter - 9, fantastic dark ale
