Dear Sam,

Have you ever thought about what  kind of person you would be like if ONE person wasn't in it like they were? If your friendship with them never happened? Would you be the same? Would you be the exact opposite of what you are now?

I was thinking today, as usual.

 What would we be like if we didn't become friends? Would I still be the loner smart person? Would you be a fashionable prep? Would you still think me a nerd. Would I still think of you as stuck up? Would we hate each other? Would we become friends later on?

Would we be narrow minded about stuff we now love? Would you think of "punks" as dirty. Would I think of "preps" as whores? Would either of us even like the same music as we do now? 'Cuz i know, that if i didn't know you i would still me n my room listening to Mr. Big, or Bon Jovie. I wouldn't know who the hell Good Charlotte, Mest, Rancid, or even Eminem was.

If i didn't know you, i would still be a little nerd, who doesn't talk to people, and listens to oldies. I wouldn't know the rush of excitement that happens just before your favourite band goes up on stage. I wouldn't have the self confidence that I do now (no matter how small it is). I wouldn't know what it's like to have someone know more about you than even you do.
