Yesterday was the most surreal day of my life. Sandwiched between Jay-Z and the Foo Fighters in the BBC Studios, and feeling properly sick with nerves, we played 'Zorbing' and 'Fuel up' and somehow just held it together. What a relief when it was over! And what a way for Ollie to spend his birthday!

You can watch yesterday's live recording of the Stornorabbits-in-headlights on iPlayer, or tune in to BBC2 on Friday evening for the hour-long version.  Its good be back to reality today......did yesterday really just happen?

love Brian

We were rooting for you Brian, surrounded by all those mega artists but look at it this way, Sting and Jay-Z would probably like to be the new kids on the block. Stornoway, on the other hand, would probably like a bit of their dosh! The boys done good.

It sounded great,  and with respect to the other artists you were the most unique sounding...Sorry Sting!
Having met you on Saturday, you are great guys who deserve the fruits of their talent and labour. All the very best! Hopefully see you in the Midlands again soon.

Never seen you or heard of you before and thought your set was brilliant - as good as any others on the show (and better than some!).  Fuel Up is an oustanding track.  We'll definitely be in the audience when you come to Birmingham.

Ho to you all. You need not have been so nervous. The set was really great and I was hooked the moment you began to sing. Balance seemed great to me too. I immediately bought the tracks available on itunes but was massively disappointed not to find Fuel Up listed as I thought it a beautifully written song. I wanted to buy it to gift to a close friend who is struggling in Omaha Nebraska at the moment and who I know it would have 'spoken to'. Good luck and I will be buying tickets to see you at Komedia, Brighton.
