Current mood:  optimistic
It was recently decided in the Witch Hunt camp that we were in dire need of a Frequently Asked Questions blog .  We figure this will save both you guys and us from some serious migraines so here they are, with more on the way I'm sure!  Questions are in bold, answers are italicized:

- When are y'all coming to California again?
We're pretty much always in the stages of setting up another tour, whether we make it to California or anywhere else depends on how much time we have.  Basically when we have things figured out we will send out a myspace bulletin or a newsletter email (sign up for it via the myspace page if you're interested) listing the tentative / confirmed dates.

- Will you guys do a split-record with my band?
Most likely not...  Well, no.  While we appreciate the offers we just can't commit to any more split-records...  Especially if we don't know you.  At this point we have no plans for a new recording and if and when we do we will only work with close friends.  Nothing personal.  Sorry.  Well, no, I'm not sorry.  Good luck!!!

- Yo!  What's with the peace-sign?  Are you guys hippies or something?

Are we hippies?  No (except maybe Nicole).  Is peace such a bad thing?  No (although judging from the reactions we've gotten it seems a lot of folks really beg to differ).  The decaying peace-symbol on our records, banner, etc. represents an idealogical erosion-of-sorts.  The peace-symbol is the perfect example...  A wonderful concept championed by a generation that became meaningless once it was commodified, over-used, and eventually abandoned by that generation as they grew up and chased their own dreams of luxury and convenience, fucking over anyone in their path, by any means necessary.  We also chose this "logo" because in the wake of 9/11 it was beginning to seem like you couldn't tell who was a war-monger and who was a punk anymore.  We wanted people to know what side we're on as well as remind them that any culture can be corrupted, bought, and sold...  Even a holier-than-thou DIY culture.  History repeats itself.

- So I'm putting together this compilation CD and BlahBlahBlah is going to be on it and BlahBlahBlah is almost confirmed...  Wanna record a new song for it or "donate" a previously-released song?
Mmmmm...  No thanks...

- Can you get my band a show in Philadelphia?
Unfortunately we can't really help out with shows.  We will try to help folks we know personally but we really don't have the time or energy to help everyone.  We all work and have lives outside the band which makes it incredibly difficult to even write people back on this thing.  However, we try to write back as much as we can and if we can point you in the right direction for a show then we'll try our best.  Please do not take it personally!  PS - Try www.phillyshreds.com.

- If I send you some interview questions will you answer them?
Sure.  I will warn you that we sometimes take a while to respond.  One way to speed up the process is to send interesting questions.  We get tired of the same old generic punk-zine questions...  So please, for our sake, think up some good ones, eh?

- I heard you guys are signing to a major label, you have a guarantee, and you're sponsored by all these companies 'n' shit...  Say it ain't so!

Nope.  Certain folks like to perpetuate lies about people they don't know(and sometimes people they know) to move higher up on the punk-rock food chain, especially when they've dug themselves into holes they can't get out of.  We will continue to write/play music and we will continue to work with people we trust and can communicate with.  We will also continue to break our instruments as well as our van and shell out any savings we have to fix them.

-Do you guys have any copies of your first 7" left?  Or the split with Deathbag?  Will they ever be repressed?
Besides our own personal copies, there are none left.  Honestly, they're not that good.  You can try ebay if you're desperate.  We've seen them occasionally go for ridiculous prices on there and we think that is a travesty...  It's really not worth it.  The songs are available on our "This is Only the Beginning" CD remastered in their original mixes (DO NOT buy the OOP Witch Hunt - "EP's/Crucial Chaos Radio" CD on Profane if you see it.  The remixed versions on that CD sound like garbage) along with our first LP and some demos so ya get more for your buck.  No plans to ever repress, sorry!!!

That is so true.
