British 332 Telephone conversion.
If you are trying to convert a Retro Telephones such as a British 332 bakelite telephone to work on the BT plug system please follow these instructions:
Opening the telephone by removing the base (four screws) and:
Remove all existing straps
Insert strap between T1 and T2 Insert strap between T8 and T9
Connect the white wire of the line cord to terminal T1 Connect the red wire of the line cord to terminal T9 Connect the blue (bell) wire of the line cord to terminal T11 Connect the spare green wire of the line cord to terminal T3
Insert a 3.3K resistor between terminals T11 and T12.
If there are no faults on the existing telephone this should work.
