I know, I know. DEP doesn't blog much. How the hell are going to cling to this Audacity of Hope thing we keep hearing about if we don't plug directly into the internet?!?! So much for our collective presidential run in 2012. As if we would survive the mass extinction that will befall us on that fateful year anyways...
Good news is, here we are! And somewhere in the mix of playing a mad amount of shows, maintaining relationships and employment as well as arguing with certain little retards in AZ as to why Mason doesn't totally suck at drums, we are somewhere in between "making" and "having made" an album. Thats right, my beautiful dissenters, "Target Rich" is on its way!
You will notice a few new tracks on our myspace page. We held off as long as we could, but, being DIYers, we are the main financiers and finances hae been slow enough. The tracks are not mastered and not even completely mixed yet, but Josh Woodhouse with Droplink Productions has been kicking mad ass making us sound like band! Holy Shiaht! The concept!
Next up is mastering with Jerry Tubb at Terra Nova and artwork to be provided by Rich at Fireside Creative. You've seen his work every in Austin and on the cover of many albums, metal and otherwise.
So, traitors, listen and raise your horns high! Dead Earth Politics is still perfecting their subversive ideology and staying the course. We are opening new doors and knocking on some old ones. Thank you to all who have supported us in the past and will continue to support us.
