We just got back from San Francisco and the sold out, yes sold out, screening of Allison, My Love at Frameline. Allison, My Love went over really well in a strong program and the other filmmakers in the program were great.

Amy Andre, who was the programmer for Bi Request (the shorts program Allison, My Love was in) did a great job and we were lucky enough to run into her at other programs, the BiBQ and the trans march and she was really welcoming to us out-of-towners.

We posted some photos from the festival, the BiBQ and the Bi Film Panel that Cyra, Brea and I were a part of along with Amy Andre, Allegra Hirschman (director Shafted) and Jack Mohr (sexuality studies scholar).

After the panel everyone headed over to the Lex for the after party where we further discussed film and sexuality, but with less academia and more alcohol. Which I think is one of the great things about going to festivals, being in a community, making friends and talking about stuff you love. Plus there was free champagne.

So, we met some cool people, saw some great films, and all and all had a great time while we were at Frameline.

Can't wait for the next festival!
