John, Paul and Dave make up the brilliant band Metonia. I reviewed a couple of tracks from these guys not too long ago and thought they were good then… well they’ve brought us another four brilliant tracks to feast on. They’ve spent much time and effort creating the perfect song, and anyone with a taste in music will love them. The key changes, the melodies and the intense guitar riffs they produce are the making of a great band. ‘Science Makes Man’ has to be my favourite track out of the four I’ve heard – the bass line at the beginning of the song is complex and keeps your attention throughout. But each song has its individuality, they’ve managed to steer clear from the repetitive drone that some bands fall victim to. Metonia have original ideas and a great sound, and I hope to hear yet more songs for them in the near future.
