Hi friends,
I've been in Australia for a week now promoting the release of my album and things are going really well.
When I arrived on in Sydney on Wednesday I had an interview on 2Day FM's Hot 30 which was a lot of fun. Early Thursday morning I flew out to Perth which is my home town and it was go go from there. Went straight to a hair appointment (Artistic Visions took care of me very well), went to a wardrobe fitting from there with Ruth Tarvydas and then had a venue rehearsal with my in town guitarist Anthony Cormican.
Saturday night's event went so well. I hosted the Fashion TV Diamond Model Awards Final in Perth and had a blast. To kick off the evening I performed songs form the album which went over like a charm, if I do say so myself ;)
Sunday was family day and I took time to hang out with my mum, do a bit of shopping and then prepare for our rowdy italian dinner that evening.
This week I have a lot of interviews which is really fun for me. Yesterday (monday) I had 3,...First up was Style Palace which was a success on so many levels. As well as just having a great chat with the ladies, I got to shop in their oh so quaint office-wardrobe and then I announced the launch of my jewelry line White Elephant which Style Palace is now the official Perth stockist of. Yay!!
Last, but far from least was my interview with STM (Sunday Times Magazine). I had a nice long chat with Wendy Caccetta about my new home in LA, personal growth and what's been going on in my life since Popstars, and future plans for my music and acting career.
So far everyone I've chatted with has been nothing but positive and I'm excited to see how the rest of my week pans out.
