Porcelain By: The Jubilee Year
I can see her to this day… crying and accused. Her hands are shaking, her life is breaking… beneath her porcelain shoes.
And she cries... And just lies again… Trapped inside… Is an innocence.
She dreams of daisies and roses and hopes she can change but she knows that she may never change a thing. Tears that have fallen for so long she's always fought them with no one. I never showed you what love is…
These walls they whisper… your secrets. I know your lies, I've heard you cry but all I have are regrets.
Sometimes… You get a hold of a bad taste that lingers on… And I try… To replace it with what is now gone.
And now we're older, And time spent to together, Seems so far away, but I still wish you were here!
But you run for the window and you try, to find meaning and search for, for a comfort but those arms are fleeting.
And now it takes me back to the picture... Of innocence… [She's like porcelain she falls and she breaks, and I'm left with the pieces] Innocence… [She's like porcelain its all she can take, and she's left with the pieces]
