EDITORIAL — Sorry for the delay, my electronic typewriter has not been working! Also there are just too many distractions. As always, I got no response to fedupmag ten. No one will read it. They all think it’s a get-rich-quick scheme. Ever get the feeling you are not wanted? It’s not easy doing a zine with all the hostility.
When you think about it, normally the media only write about the price of things, no one else ever notices the unavailability of quality goods. Equally, you would never see any article complaining about everything being available in pink. It’s one of those things no-one ever mentions. I only do analysis that no-one else does.

I had hoped that my sceptical article on carbon dioxide would be picked up by mainstream media but no chance. The article on film being better than digital was ignored also.

As you can see, what I’ve done is downsized, decluttered and relaunched my zine. It is 8 pages now. I’m bringing it back as a text-heavy freesheet. I’ve decided the official name now is
‘fedupmag’. I reckon (at least by Irish standards) it’s a good, clutter-free issue, no filler. Eight pages are more manageable than the traditional dozen. Zines usually have dozens of pages but this is only to give the impression of value for money. It’s all filler.
Because it’s no secret my brain is turned to jelly. I start typing a sentence and I forget what I was going to type.
Me nerves are jumpy, me brain is destroyed. I get totally confused. [...etc.]

Hey there, you got some feedback from issue 10, from me! I even did a review for you, so cheer up! Also, I wouldn't mind helping you distribute your zine, maybe reaching a wider audience will have more results!..

I wrote that to wind you up — and because I like a whiny editorial. Anyway, the new zine is on its way via airmail. I've only done ten copies so far. I would like to get it distributed but I am sceptical about anyone ever paying for it. That's why it's free. I have it down to 2 sheets of paper folded over, which is how I want it... ..

Haha, yeah I kinda thought you'd expect a response from me there! Yes, I got the new zine! I liked all of the articles, the only one I didn't agree with was the last one about the internet. Although I agree the internet could be much better, and that links to more links is annoying, I would have different ideas about it all. <br />But yes, your zine is simply two pages, cheap to print out, I have my own printer scanner now, so if you don't mind, I will be printing copies out and sending them about!
