This is my perspective on "greatness".

Greatness is not an aspect that can simply be learned or achieved through circumstance, but rather something that is gradually developed within a man's soul from the moment of birth.

It is evident that people exist today who have achieved "greatness" through methods such as cheating and stealing; and the public recognizes them as being "great" whether they know how that greatness was achieved or not. Sadly, some actually come to praise and follow those dishonest people thinking they too can succeed through the same methods.

Greatness is something that lies dormant deep within a man's soul; it's what urges a man to step forward, push his limits, and succeed. This inner greatness is what makes a man truly great; the drive that illuminates a warrior's fighting spirit to the bitter end.

Circumstance is completely irrelevent and does not determine anyone's destiny. There are successful people today have lived through the worst conditions anyone can ever imagine, yet they somehow managed to overcome and excel. They made it up in their own mind that they would never yield; never surrender or back down. This is the true meaning of greatness. It is the product of man's soul and dreams.
