Wow fucking wow, I just put The Elephant Man Soundtrack on the turntable amd  forgot how much it rocks!!  Like some demented carnival ride from the deepest part of Hades.

It uses some weird instrument called the polyphon.. Like an LP record with raised ridges that was played at certain speeds

They look pretty.They were i guess the precursor to the single tone dj disc being used now. They used to even have different discs

Have found a vinyl copy of the Battlestar Galactica soundtrack at Dave's Boutique and am going to pick it up today.
