Anissia... was born with a small hole in her back..
The pediatrician has a daughter wih Spinal Bifida, that was everyones first thought, was she paralized.. she was moving her legs so no one was completely paniced..
Except me..
I dont know much about the disease so.. some one says she may have a disease she will be paralised for the rest of her life.. I panic
They said it wasnt so bad we should worry and we would be discahrged as if everything were normal.. and sent with a conceltation to St. Josephes in Pheonix..
The day we were discharged we drove to Phx., we tok her to the NICU and she was admitted.. I wasnt handling it well.. Alan was my strong hold. They informed us she would be here for a minimum of 24 hours.. so did we need a place to stay.. They arranged for us to stay at the Ronald Mc Donald House.. we had to check in by 5pm so we couldnt stay with Nissi any longer.. He took me from my baby.. made me leave her.. not even 2 days old, and I had to leave her with strangers.. I wasnt in the room with her, I wasnt under the same roof as her, I was MILES from her.. she was there alone.... no one but nurses..
We checkd in.... and he took me back to the hospital.. we stayed until 11pm when I finally conseeded to defeat, we went back to go to bed, He was there for me while I cryed.. I wasnt alone... I wasnt just mom alone with "broken baby"... WE were a family.. who was dealing with our child who was in need... We were there for one another, able to comfort each other and be supportive for each other.
I felt so bad keeping him up.. he was on the phone most of the night before with Heather.. she was telling him about how horribul of a person he was because he wasnt back with her.. when HIS OWN DAUGHTER was in need of SUGERY.. *bah*
and then had to wake up at 6 am to get us to Phx on time .. he was so tired, so fatiuged from the nights phone call that he had needed to just sleep .. there was so much stress... so much drama..
