As (West) African immigrants in the United States, we came here with something within us. Everyone of us came with different backgrounds, experiences, ideas, and professions. We performing artists came with music and that is why this particular event is called "Music From Our Land". Thus, this concept is meant to feature series of live performances with a fusion of music by different African great composers of all time, most especially from the '60s to present.
