alright, i'm a virgin at this so stick with me! i want to reintroduce planet e to ya'll. as you've seen our releases from the planet e and planet e classics imprints, most of the recent output has been from me. now i am happy to introduce to the label Ican and their first release "a quien" and martin buttrich making his planet e debut. i am proud of these releases for this is exactly where my head is, deep and different. Martin's release 'full clip' has been making much static before its release (which is next week ya'll) from global DJ's of legenary proportions (and i don't use legendary lightly). so pay attention!!! Ican is the continuation my persuits from the days of releasing music by my other mentor francisco mora catlett. Ican has a fantastic ep on their hands and i look forward to blessing this music nation with more of their brainstorming in the near future. so get to it. check out the snippets and keep eyes peeled for vinyl at your local internet retailer. much love and peace with chicken grease! c2, prez.

well, cool stuff in both cases!

..any chance to get a feedback from you? maybe you remember, my cd in a blue plastic sleeve given in TURIN some months ago (the night with nathan fake and his "joking" laptop!)..

Great to hear fresh cuts and new talent on this legendary label... I think Stacey Pullen dropped "Full Clip" in Antwerp a few months ago... it was a standout track anyway and the only info he would divulge was that it was forthcoming on Planet E... looking forward to it... many thanks and max kudos!

feedback from the 7Hills City Lisboa:

Major Eléctrico (digger & 1of the baddest funky dealers of the 7Hills City) says about the "Full Clip/Progammer" funky joint - «provavelmente o melhor maxi de house em 2006. Tudo certo, evolutivo, estratégico, sem excessos.» Wich is like the same exact thang as saying - probably the best maxi of House in 2006. Everythang is in place, evolutive, estrategic, without excesses.   http://www.majorelectrico.blogspot.com/

Funkula says about dat funky joint - me gusta!it´s nasty!raw! & in yo face!

stay cool Mojo & Planet-E muchachada! BE BAD!

Definitely "deep and different" . Full Clip ... i don't actually have words for it. it  completely blew me away.  Amaaazing sounds right there. Thanks for bringing these amazing artists to our attention, I can't wait to hear more from them.
(PS, sydney's missing you Mr Craig, so please come back soon ... pretty please!)

YO! Mojo!Planet-E muchachada! More rumpus-funkus from Lusitanian lands! Dub bra review of your funky joint was published in da last edition of da "dance club" magazine! And just for the record - Dub bra is a real baadasss!I´m telling ya!A meanmutha with a funky drive who takes no jive! Here´s what he said:

«What to say? It is, whithout a doubt, the music that better resumes all of a crescendo from the classic Detroit Hi-Tech-Funk on the dancefloors of this final 2006 and the one that gives it a stronger voice. And the katz seems to bless this EP, besides of  being an essencial record on its own, it´s even more perfect when it´s Planet-E releasing “Full Clip”, instead of some other label. Nothing like the seal of approval from the Hi-Tech-Funk masters for the legitimating of the producer of Loco Dice and Timo Maas, rare for someone from the outside of the circuit of the Motor City but totally deserved – “Full Clip” is just possible for those who have read all the pages from the instructions manual from the school of Detroit. The musical concept behind “Full Clip” is even relatively simple, with production skills from Butrich managing to transform that apparent simplicity in a intense (and I mean INTENSE) journey surrounding a short bassline until the breakdown that does justice to this theme.
”Programmer”, the other theme, is closer to the German vein of Butrich and, although it´s another theme of superior quality, it will be, very probably, forever known as the best B side of the greatest record of 2006

Now, is this kat baaad or-IS-HE-BAAAAAD!? Exactemundo!Dub bra knows his shiiííít! But Funkula has a more coherent and adult review of the Full Clip joint! Funkula says:

Planet-E Full Clip/Programmer joint is so Funky as a barbecued-chicken breakdancing and smokin weed on a desert island full of hot chicks straight from a Harem of the 60s!
