As planned we spent the last weekend in Dub Rek studios in Derby for the first recording session for our debut album.

It was a real success. We have recorded the first 8 tracks for the album in full and are planning to go back soon to record another 3-4 new tracks to complete the album and then mix and master the lot.

We spent the saturday recording live until we'd made sure we'd performed the very best take of each song and then returned on the sunday to do guitar and vocal overdubs. The sound on the recordings is the best we've ever had and everything (especially the bass) sounds wicked. A good mix of ambient and close mics were used to capture a really good live sound.

We've got a few photos from the weekend below and we'll put more info (and maybe some rough mxes) after we return to the studio to finish the last few songs.

We can also confirm that we've spoken to Howard at Raucous Records and they will be stocking the album upon it's release.
