Was just listening to The Beatles classic "Here comes the Sun on my mate Danny's page, and thought I would write down exactly what happens in this song to come up with a timeless work of genius. So here are my notes. More for my benefit than anyone who might be reading, but if you are really bored...
ac. guitar plays gorgeous, sunny, memorable riff.
lead vocals
cellos
drums and bass
harmony vocal
very simple arrangement
small drum kit
melody and lyrics are forefront, with very clean supporting lines.
bridge is cool variation, repeated 6 times with distorted e. guitar, live claps and recorder.
Organ comes in for last verse, playing single notes, providing greater dimensions.
Pure smegging genius. And not a bit too complicated for your average joe.
