"As you may have noticed, we just uploaded some new tracks...In September of '06, the long process of hooking up with producer Aaron Johnson (The Fray, Cartel, Don Johnson, Philip Michael Thomas, etc...) began to end. We (mostly Justin) drove 17 hours to Nashville, crashed on our dear manager Amy's floor, and prepared ourselves for something a bit fresh. Over the course of about a week, we refined some of our old stuff and worked on some new songs. We recorded on music row in studio owned by Elvis' (Presley, not Stojko) former pianist. Also in the studio was a grand piano previously owned by Liberace (if you don't know who that is, please don't bother finding out). If you listen closely to 'That's What I Meant By Goodbye,' you can almost feel the flamboyant magic of that ivory beast play footsie with your inner ear...There was just enough time to finish pre-production and lay down the rythym section before going back to Texas. In December we flew (thank heavens) to NYC to record the singin' and guitar pickin'. The funny thing is, Liberace's piano was at the Nashville studio and not the one in Queens... I hope you like the new song and the new versions of previous tracks--if not, please don't let us know...it's already done. We should have them available soon if you feel good about 'em. Cool... I guess that's it." -levi
