Spencer P. Jones and The Escape Committee are back in business with a new line-up and a powerful new rock’n’roll sound.

Following the departure of much-loved drummer Andy Moore and 'Guitarrista' supreme Phil Gionfriddo, Spencer and long time bassist Helen Cattanach have returned with a harder, more explosive sound, some new songs and a thrilling line-up, which features former ‘Love Addicts’ drummer Dave Nicholls and legendary ‘Bored/Powdermonkeys’ sonic stringman John Nolan!!!

They have  a new album (soon to be released on  the Torn & Frayed label) recorded earlier this year at the Elsternwick Hotel on the eve of Spencer’s touring commitments overseas. The album is entitled 'HANG ON... HANG ON... live from Melbourne'  and was recently completed by producer Hamish Marr, galvanising all aspects of their more brutal, valve-fuelled, cluster bomb rock’n’roll!!!

Anyone who witnessed their recent shows at Bang Fest!, The Greyhound Hotel and Northcote Social Club will tell you that Spencer and the Escape Committee (along with the likes of The Dream Twins, The Bakelite Age and Bittersweet Kicks) are one of the hottest tickets in town.
