Well hey.. a 4 year break and now 2 releases within a couple of months. I guess it is not bad, but to be honest, I feel like this is just the tip of the iceberg. I have so much music waiting to be finished and so much to be written. There will be more soon. Sooner than you think. But in the meantime, "Q&A" has been released in Australia and New Zealand. It's so exciting. So much great support from Radio. RRR, FBI and 4ZZZ have made it album of the week! Reviews have also been really positive... aside from one in The Age. The Age (Melbourne) review in the EG is actually quite funny. Reading it, you'd think I was some young Fitzroy, black tight-jean, uber- cool guy. It's not a very constructive review and although I've had bad reviews in the past, it baffles me how serious people take things. My music is not about being cool, there is no statement - it's simply how I feel. I do it because this is what i do and it has formed very naturally without any preconceptions or "scene-ster" manipulation. Nothing more. Her reference to Pierre Schaeffer is kind of accurate. I did do my Masters in Sound Art, but referencing it from a "hip" persecutive.. Gees.(I'm actually more of a Bernard Parmigiani man) Q&A will be out in the rest of the world through Mush Records early next year. Yay! Anyway, there are lots of shows coming up and I hope to see you all there! The live show, with Bongo Legs, is rocking! Also, for a few selected shows I have some guest musicians. Should be all fun!
