The weight of this world lies heavy on my shoulders,
Friends knowing not all the burdens that I bare.
But you, oh LORD gives me all the strength I need,
And promise that you will be with me, always there.
Through this life you gave us there are twists and there are turns,
And though we never quite know the way
All we need is to ask you, oh our Father.
And you will guide us, each and every day.
For I know not what tomorrow brings,
Its troubled questions daily anew.
For you I live though, oh LORD,
Majesty overall, and all under you.
