last time, Juho Kahilainen's Kuolonkellot EP (listen) plumbs the depths
and comes up with treasure in its fists. 'Kalma' is the more driving of
the two cuts here, a rising four-note bassline percolating menacingly
beneath gaseous exhalations and twisted electronics. It's the hypnotic
title track that impresses most, though, its lachrymose bleeps calling
to one another between astringent hi-hats and ghostly chimes."

Die Tracks sind alle beide ziemlich minimal und haben eine düstere Atmo. Beim Titeltrack 'Kuolonkellot' hallen Bleeps durch den Raum, begleitet von einer zurückhaltenden Hook und einem sanften Beat. Bei 'Kalma' geht's schon etwas deftiger zur Sache, hier drückt die Bassdrum schon ganz gut, prägnante Percussion verleihen dem Track einen gewissen Drive un auch die verhallenden Noises passen gut ins Gesamtbild. Definitiv spielbar das Ganze und dafür gibt es 4/6" - MPLeary / Raveline MagSupport
