Karl's first ever soundtrack, which won the Golden Goblet award at the Shanghai International Film Festival, is now available in most music stores, online, and on iTunes.

The movie is of course Vincent Ward's 'River Queen'. It stars Kiefer Sutherland and Samantha Morton, and is a story set during the 1860s in which a young Irish woman and her family find themselves on both sides of the turbulent wars between British and Maori during the British colonisation of New Zealand.

In other news, Karl has started work on his next major project, which is a setting of the Stabat Mater, which will be premiered by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on March 15th, 2008 as part of Liverpool's European "City of Culture" status for the year.
