well, it would seem that things are finally coming to fruition here at affiliate-central. we're auditioning a bassist and a few guitarists in the coming weeks and hope for those so far elusive chairs to be filled. it's hard work and challenges one's patience. we are looking really forward to getting this groove thang out there for all you folks that have expressed interest in what we have been trying to accomplish. when it does get out there ... it's gonna' be mighty.

keep posted ... updates coming soon ... happy holidays everybody!

Where were you guys about 10 or 20 years ago?  I'd love to try out but I'm too out of shape.   Haven't played for over 15 years.  Used to play with Landmark Funk Group in Boston, Ellis Hall's old drummer Richard Marshall's group Universal Sound in Boston, both during the late 70's while attending Berklee.  Played in NY for a long time with a lot of people, TM Stevens, Gene Torres, Jon Bates, Charles Compo, Mitch Rothschild, Abe Speller (of Sonny Sharrock), The Ossining Bad Boys, Lightning Lil' Mike (of Port St Lucie), etc.  If you guys don't find someone and about  6 months goes by, I will be back in shape and would definately be able to play and solo in your whole songlist that you posted.  My style was originally Zappa, Hendrix, Santana, Chicago, Spooky Tooth, Earth, Wind & Fire, Crusaders, Larry Carlton, Roy Ayers, Rufus, Tower of Power, Sly & the Family Stone, Joe Cocker, AWB, Brecker Brothers, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Jeff Beck, Beatles, Temptations, 4 Tops, Spinners, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Sun Ra, George Duke, Stanley Clarke, Heatwave, Confunkshun, Johnny Guitar Watson, Al Jareau, etc, etc, as well as a whole lot of original music.  Good luck in your search.
