KATELYN MALLONE & AFTERMOON 

Katelyn Mallone and AfterMoon formed in the fall of 2007, when Katelyn Mallone, along with fellow Cornish College of the Arts music students; James Hunter and Elsa Nilsson teamed up to produce "The Roy Sessions" demo CD that's centered around Katelyn's original bluesy, pop-rock compositions.  Katelyn Mallone and AfterMoon bring a fresh burst of bluesy qualities and combines pop-rock flairs to create their singer-songwriter style of music. 

With enriched original compositions, Katelyn Mallone provides finger-picking, upbeat acoustic guitar arrangements backed by bluesy, soulful vocals and also brings to the table bouncy, rhythmic and catchy melodic piano tunes with a hint of jazz and pop influences.  Her soulful and bluesy vocal lines provide listeners with catchy lyrical phrases and rhythmic rhymes, which becomes a solid foundation that is supported by her energetic and enriching rhythm section.  Katelyn Mallone and AfterMoon provides audiences with an exciting, engaging performance for all to enjoy.

Katelyn Mallone plays the acoustic guitar, keyboards, alto saxophone as well as singing lead vocals.  James Hunter plays the electric bass and Elsa Nilsson plays the flute and clarinet, as well as dabbling on conga drums on "The Roy Sessions" cd.
