I didn't make it to DC for the rally last weekend.  This is the one speech I would have loved to hear in person.  Ayi'nah Ford brilliantly broke it down for ALL OF US.  Catch it.  And pass it on...

i watched it yesterday and the speakers made important view points. Being homophobic is almost the same as being racist

There is a war going on and gay people in all 50 states should have equal rights to get married, who is the goverment to tell anyone who you can and can't love. My dream in America is to see gay marriage become legal in all 50 states, my fiancee and I are planning to get married in Iowa when he get's out of prison and I couldn't be happier with my life and my relationship. I however as a gay man in America do not support the idea to end Don't Ask, Don't Tell in the military because President Clinton set that bill in motion for a reason to end discrimination in the military. I believe that in certain places and situations that its not ok to discuss your sex life and sexual preference especially at the work place which is what the military is a work place, its a job and we should never be discussing who we're sleeping with at the job

Dear Darryl, Thanks so much for sharing. What a beautiful speech.I see my self as part of The "LIGHT" because as Ayi'nah said labels and age don't matter in the fight for what is right.

I will be glad when the day our society focuses on more important issues like will our country be here in 5 years instead of trying to hold back people who love one another and dictate their lives because of some bullshit laws they made up to torment yet another class of people they deem necessary to control.

Wow, what a wonderful message. She's right...the youth will help bring change an equality. Indiana has been a red since...forever! All our college towns won Obama my state. I never thought I'd see that happen in my lilfetime. Hopefully, I will get to see the GLBT community get equal fundamental rights. There is nothing anyone can say(including my fam)that will make me understand or accept blatant discrimination! I'm ready to do my part. Glad I got to see this vid. Thanks D!
