Hi Mary...I too am a survivor of abuse by a former spouse...I was shocked to hear your story, but I am so glad you are speaking out. WE MUST. I wish someone had when I was being abused...Thanks for sharing and I love you btw :)

I'm so sorry you had to endure that kind of treatment, particularly from one who vowed to love you as Christ loves his church.

I am happy that you do what you love.  The light of love within you is a reflection of the ove that made you and gives you life; it is the love that fuels your art which is a living sign of God's presence.  You are blessed and you bless us in turn.

Mary please do not ever forget how loved you are! You are nothing short of amazing and I am so sorry you had to endure such abuse. You are so kind, loving and compassionate! You can light up any room and don't ever let anyone tell you differently!! My heart is sad for you. Please know that I am thinking of you. Your courage is inspiring.

I just read the story today.  What a brave and strong woman you were to walk away.  I am sure it will inspire and strengthen at least one person out there.  You are a joy to watch on tv each week.  Thank you for sharing this powerful story with us all.
